There are few physical specimens like San Francisco 49ers’ all-world linebacker, Patrick Willis. He’s fast, he’s strong, he’s physical, and he’s savvy when it comes to studying film. Since he’s a bit short for heavyweight he’d likely have to shed some weight, but a man who lives in the gym like Willis wouldn’t have any problem adjusting as necessary to compete in peak condition. After all, he’s too much of a gamer to take any other approach.
To the relief of countless fans across the globe, the 2013 NFL Season is officially afoot! Though there are obviously some established stars in the league, every year new Pro Bowl players emerge based on their performances on the pitch. After all, in a league stacked with athletically gifted individuals, a few are bound to take their skills to the next level with the proper dedication.
Such an assessment might also be true if considering a different career path for a number of NFL players in the form of Mixed Martial Arts. Familiar with training to the brink of exhaustion and dealing with daily contact, there’s no doubt a few gladiators of the gridiron could also excel in the cage.
